Introducing .....

We have been privileged to be part of Raihan and Samia's introduction to Canada and welcomed them to our service on The Longest Night. Raihan had previously joined us at a Board meeting to speak about his arrival in Canada, his wife, Samia who joined him some months later, and their newborn daughter, Sophie, already a Canadian by birth. Raihan's refugee claim was accepted early in December and the family is now working to set down roots in their newly claimed country. It is exciting to be able to support them as they do that.

Affan Chowdhry of The Globe and Mail sat down with Raihan and Samia to learn about the challenges that faced them in Bangladesh.
