January 8th 2023: Mind the Gap
We often hear about the “growing gap between the rich and poor” or how “the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.” With record numbers of billionaires in a housing crisis and increasing poverty, these aphorisms are definitely part of our life today.
The increasing inequality in the world is in direct conflict with the values at West Hill United especially our commitment to the well-being of the web of life. This Sunday we will look at how living true to our values and imagining a better world might help reduce the growing gap between the rich and poor and point us to a healthier way of living.
