This Sunday West Hill honours International Women's Day 

It is our opportunity to pay tribute to all those women who have and continue to influence our lives.
Please bring a fist-sized rock with you to this week's Women Rock Gathering!

During the service we'll write names on the rocks, so have a piece of chalk or a marker to hand as well. The women we're celebrating are the Crazy Women, the women whose work was considered insane by their contemporaries. Florence Nightingale, for example. Going to the Crimea to care for soldiers was considered madness at the time but nursing soon became a much-admired profession. If you wish, there will be an opportunity for you to share a bit about your Crazy Woman during the service. And remember: Not all Crazy Women are famous women. A lot of us have Crazy Women in our families who broke the codes and did their own thing! Women Rock!!
