November 27th 2022: The Work and Vision of the Boys & Girls Club, Welcome back Utcha Sawyer

This Sunday we will hear from Utcha Sawyers, the Chief Executive Officer of the East Scarborough Boys & Girls Club. She will tell us about the work of the Boys & Girls Club and how we at West Hill United might work with them.

The Boys & Girls Club of East Scarborough believes in empowering our children and youth to achieve their dreams. They provide a safe space for children, youth, and family members to experience new opportunities and create an inclusive space for members. They strive to overcome barriers while building confidence and memorable life skills for our youth. The Club seeks to create neighbourhood solutions for community development. Their programs and services follow the organization’s core values surrounding inclusion and opportunity, respect and belonging, empowerment, collaboration, and speaking out. Boys and Girls Clubs are located across Canada and around the world.
