BUILDING A GOD

Chris DiCarlo's latest research position and work considers how a small group of big tech companies are racing as quickly as possible to build a superintelligent machine god that will answer all their questions and provide them with wealth and riches beyond imagination. The problem of course, is how to build such a god that will align with our moral sentiments.

WELCOME BACK DR. CHIS DI CARLO
Dr. Christopher DiCarlo is a philosopher, educator, and author. 
He teaches for The Life Institute at Toronto Metropolitan University and is a lifetime member of Humanist Canada as well as an Expert Advisor for the Centre for Inquiry Canada. He is also the Ethics Chair for the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Chris is the Principal and Founder of Critical Thinking Solutions, a consulting business for individuals, corporations, and not-for-profits in both the private and public sectors. He has spoken at numerous national and international conferences and written scholarly papers ranging from bioethics to cognitive evolution.
