October 27, 2013 - The Face of Justice
On October 27th West Hill welcomed guest speaker Michael Creal. Michael is now in retirement, from his final career, as Professor of Humanities at York Univ. He continues to be very much involved, as Faculty Member at the Centre for Refugee Studies and Chair of Southern Ontario Sanctuary Coalition. Michael has been instrumental in providing guidance and counsel to the Refugee Centre at Romero House. He is an extremely warm caring and compassionate individual and we are pleased he was able to speak to us about his advocacy within the refugee system.
