Come Together - Music at West Hill
Music – a combination of melody, harmony, tone, pitch, rhythm, composition, notation, arrangements, improvisation, externals like acoustics, instruments, audience participation, and recording, and, of course, mistakes. We’ll look at (some of) these in their own right, but also figuratively for insights we can draw from them for our relationships with ourselves, with others, and with the planet.
As well, Andrea Rowan, formerly a close neighbour of West Hill who now lives in Vancouver but joins us regularly on zoom, will be offering us some selections on her Celtic harp, a beautiful instrument. We look forward to hearing her play and sharing with us her love for the harp.
You'll be invited to share the title of a piece of music that has been significant in your life, for its lyrics or tune or associated memory - perhaps it was something simple, to last your whole life long (date yourself by recognizing that reference).
All are welcome this Sunday at West Hill - click here to join the zoom gathering.
