Indigenous Canada - Discussion Group
Indigenous Canada - Education and Growth!
Welcome back to another season of learning together! Our wonderful facilitator, Deb Ellis will be hosting a learning group centered around the Indigenous Canada course offered online through the Faculty of Native Studies at the University of Alberta. The course takes about 21 hours to complete, with flexible deadlines allowing you to choose when to schedule your learning. There is no cost to enroll.
Our West Hill group will meet weekly on Wednesday afternoons at 2 p.m. to review and reflect on the twelve lessons. Keeping in mind the business of the winter season, we will begin our study group in November, take a break as the New Year approaches and resume in January.
Mark your calendars for the following dates to join the group:
November 10, 17, 24, and December 1st
January 12, 19, 26, February 1, 8, 15, 22, and wrapping up on March 1st.
Wednesdays from 2 - 3:30 p.m.
As always, the conversation is always richer with you alongside so even if you fall behind a bit, we'd still love for you to join the discussion.
